About the study

You are invited to take part in a research study exploring a non-drug, non-invasive light-based method to better understand brain function in people with mild memory or thinking concerns or early dementia.

Study title: Multi-Watt Transcranial Near-Infrared Light for Mild Cognitive Impairment and Early Dementia

Principal Investigator: Theodore A. Henderson, MD, PhD

What participation includes

Some participants will receive a placebo treatment. Assignment is by chance. Participants who receive placebo may be offered active treatment at no cost after study completion.

Compensation

$350 for participants who complete the study.

Voluntary participation

Participation is voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without affecting your medical care.
